Biostimulators that build, not just fill.
Sculptra & Radiesse
Collagen-stimulating treatments designed to restore volume and improve skin quality by activating your body's natural collagen and elastin production. Unlike traditional fillers, these treatments work gradually to rebuild structure, enhance firmness, and create long-lasting, natural-looking results focusing on long-term collagen stimulation rather than immediate volume replacement. The right approach is selected based on your anatomy, skin quality, and aesthetic goals.
Sculptra
What to Expect
Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) is mixed with sterile water and injected in a series of sessions, typically spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Rather than adding immediate volume, it works beneath the skin to stimulate your body's own collagen production gradually over the following months. You'll be asked to massage the treated area for five minutes, five times a day, for five days after treatment (the 'rule of fives') to help the product distribute evenly. Mild swelling or bruising at injection sites is common and typically resolves within a few days.
Benefits
- Gradual, natural-looking volume restoration
- Stimulates true collagen production rather than just filling space
- Results can last up to 2 years or more
- Well suited to broader areas of volume loss, like the cheeks and temples
- Minimal downtime
Ideal Candidates
Clients with overall facial volume loss or thinning who want gradual, natural-looking results and are comfortable committing to a series of treatments spaced over several months.
Pre / Post Care
Pre: Avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and NSAIDs for 24–48 hours before treatment if possible.
Post: Massage the treated area as directed (5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days). Apply ice as needed for swelling. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

Radiesse
What to Expect
Radiesse is a calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) filler suspended in a gel carrier. It provides immediate visible correction at the time of treatment, while the CaHA microspheres go on to stimulate your body's own collagen production over the following months — giving both an immediate result and a longer-term collagen benefit. A single session is often sufficient per treatment area. Mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising at injection sites is common and typically resolves within a few days.
Benefits
- Immediate visible volume correction
- Stimulates long-term collagen production
- Versatile — used on the face and hands
- Results can last 12–15 months or longer
- Dual-action: fills now, stimulates collagen over time
Ideal Candidates
Clients wanting more immediate, visible correction alongside longer-term collagen stimulation — commonly used for deeper folds, jawline definition, and volume loss in the hands.
Pre / Post Care
Pre: Avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and NSAIDs for 24–48 hours before treatment if possible.
Post: Apply ice as needed for swelling. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Unlike Sculptra, Radiesse generally does not require massage after treatment unless your provider specifically directs otherwise.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between Sculptra and Radiesse?
Both stimulate your body's own collagen production, but they work differently. Sculptra builds volume gradually over several months and is better suited to broader areas of volume loss. Radiesse provides immediate visible correction at the time of treatment in addition to stimulating collagen over time, making it a good option when you want to see results right away.
How do I know which one is right for me?
It depends on your goals, the areas you're looking to treat, and how quickly you'd like to see results. Clients wanting gradual, natural-looking volume over time often lean toward Sculptra, while those wanting more immediate correction often choose Radiesse. Your provider will help determine the best fit for your anatomy and goals during your consultation.
Can I combine Sculptra and Radiesse in one treatment plan?
Yes — combination therapy is common and can offer the benefits of both: Radiesse for more immediate correction in targeted areas, paired with Sculptra for broader, gradual collagen stimulation over time. Your provider can build a customized plan combining both if it fits your goals.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies by individual, treatment goals, and which product is used. Sculptra is typically administered in a series of sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, while Radiesse is often sufficient in a single session per area, though additional sessions may be recommended for optimal results.
Do I need to massage the treated area afterward?
This depends on the product. Sculptra requires massaging the treated area for five minutes, five times a day, for five days after treatment. Radiesse generally does not require massage unless your provider specifically directs otherwise.
